The NIEPC provides an educational and social forum for those professionals in Northern Idaho active in personal estate planning and trust administration. The Council is composed of attorneys, certified public accountants, life underwriters, financial planners, trust officers, and charitable planning professionals. The NIAEPC is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.
The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) is a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated Estate Planning Councils focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and education standards. NAEPC fosters public awareness of the quality services rendered by professionals who meet these standards. NAEPC builds a team approach involving cross-professional disciplines to better serve the public's need in estate planning.

Persons interested in applying for membership in the Council must qualify as a member of one of the professional categories mentioned above. Interested persons are welcome to contact a member and attend a meeting as a guest. In order to obtain an application for membership, please contact the council's secretary.
Northern Idaho Estate Planning Council is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and joining can fulfill the requirement of belonging to an affiliated local estate planning council to become an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee.
